[edit] Games added
I added the 2007 game to be played in Dallas and the expected announcement that the 2008 and 2009 games will be played in Atlanta and Phoenix as replacements for the cancelled 2005 and 2006 contests. NoseNuggets 11:43 AM US EDT Oct 5 2005.
- Somebody added that the 2009 game will be in Montreal. Is this official? If it isn't it should be reverted as Wikipedia is not a rumour mill. --FrankCostanza 01:04, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
NHL just announced that Montreal will officially host 2009 game, also the year of the 100th anniversary.
[edit] Mcdonalds
someone should add a pieces about when McDonalds held a vote for who should be put into the All-Star team
'Morenz was carried off the ice on a stretcher to a hospital, where he died, not because of the leg injury, but because of his family, friends, and a legion of fans, all wanting to wish him well.' - Huh??? I got the drift from the following sentence that he was killed by rampaging fans in his hospital room. Is this true? Whatever the case, this sentence ought to be cleared up because it's more than a little bewildering. - Sajt 00:06, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- Morenz died of a heart attack, as stated later. The source is NHL All-Star Game: Fifty Years of the Great Tradition (ISBN 0-00-200058-X). kelvSYC 04:27, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Campbells vs. Wales
I know that this article doesn't need to become a repetition of the main NHL article; however, to those without much hockey background who happen to come across it and get interested, the origins of the Campbell and Prince of Wales Conferences need to be touched on briefly, as does the subsequent return to the more-tradtional nomenclature of East and West. Someone who is a far better hockey writer than I needs to tackle this! Rlquall 21:48, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
