A tag has been placed on Rowbentary, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- PubliusFL 14:31, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rowbentary
Nate, you said that you "do not understand why this has happened as there are plenty of micronation pages." Note that the other micronation articles (e.g. Sealand, Talossa, Atlantium, Principality of Hutt River) actually have sources. Information on Wikipedia must be attributable to a reliable source. Please read the notability guidelines linked to in my comment above. Also please read Wikipedia's attribution policy. You have to have a reliable independent source before you can make an article about something. PubliusFL 16:17, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- If you have sources which you had not yet had an opportunity to add to the article, I'm sorry the admin acted so quickly in response to my speedy delete nomination. I don't nominate articles for A7 speedy deletion lightly just because there are no sources. First I check whether I can find any sources to justify the article myself, and I only nominated Rowbentary after determining that it had 0 Google hits, 0 Google Books hits, 0 Google Scholar hits, and 0 Google News hits. If you re-create the article, I recommend including a brief explanation of why Rowbentary is notable and at least one reliable independent source from the beginning. You can then fill in the rest of the details from that stub. But if you are the Nate who founded Rowbentary, I suggest reading WP:COI and WP:AUTO before proceeding further. It may not be appropriate for you to create the article yourself, in which case you can provide your sources and suggest an article at WP:Requested articles. PubliusFL 16:59, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lovely
Hi, Nate. In response to your question about the source for the claim that "Lovely is still part of the UK", I'm probably not the best person to ask but I guess it would be the the TV series, How to Start Your Own Country. If I remember correctly, Danny Wallace delivered a letter to the PM declaring his flat to be an independent country (i.e. not part of the UK) but he didn't claim the whole block of flats or, more importantly, the land they occupy. It is this land rather than the country itself which remains part of the UK. Now that I think about it, Lovely is probably violating UK airspace… --Hitchhiker89talk 16:32, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
