New Firm (Scotland)

New Firm is the term used to describe the rivalry between Scottish football clubs Aberdeen and Dundee Utd.
The name originates from the 1980s when Aberdeen and Dundee United both had high levels of success in Scottish football at the expense of Scotland's more established clubs Rangers and Celtic, who are traditionally known as the Old Firm.
