I'm sure the airport are in discussions with a variety of airlines concerning a number of destinations, as all airports are, but (without any firm evidence or reports) Wikipedia is not the place for speculations about potential new routes. johnwalton (talk) 15:37, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

- I agree, as much as I would like to see some decent long haul routes out of Newcastle, we can't list them here in the hope that they will start. --Fozi999 11:54, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
