Nicholas Knatchbull

Nicholas Timothy Charles Knatchbull (18 November 1964–27 August 1979), styled The Hon. Nicholas Knatchbull, was the son of the 7th Baron Brabourne and his wife, formerly The Hon. Patricia Mountbatten (now the 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma), twin brother of Timothy Knatchbull, and grandson of the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma. He was murdered at the age of 14 by an IRA bomb, while sailing off the coast of Ireland in Donegal Bay, along with his maternal grandfather, the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, and paternal grandmother, the Dowager Baroness Brabourne.
