Nick Colley (born September 4, 1975 in Lichfield, England) is a semi-professional footballer currently playing for Conference North side Worcester City where he plays as a Midfielder. Colley suffers from depression which he once tried to hide by telling Tamworth F.C. that he had stomach cancer.
Colley started his career with Halesowen Town back in 1996 before moving on to Telford United. Colley was with Telford United for only one season before joining Tamworth in 1998.
2004 saw Colley move on to Stafford Rangers from Tamworth. After only one season with Rangers, Colley joined Worcester City during 2004/05 season.

Whilst at Tamworth, Colley will most famously be remembered for lying to the club and his family that he had stomach cancer [1]. Nick Colley's act was a result of trying to hide depression reasoning that he would be mocked far less if he had a physical injury. Tamworth made Nick Colley captain when the club reached the FA Trophy final at Villa Park, Birmingham and eventually lost 2-1 to Burscough F.C.. This was Nick Colley's last game fror the club, the club not wishing to renew his contract under the impression that the player had a terminal illness. The Staffordshire based club raised money for Colley to have top medical treatment in the United States of America where he would eventually spend six weeks telephoning his family and the club that he was having laser treatment and chemotherapy. He did still return for training after returning from the United States of America irrespective of being without contract, going on to make a full confession to then Tamworth manager Darron Gee that he indeed was not suffering from cancer and never had been. The club bluntly told him that he was no longer welcome at Tamworth and that he should never return.
