Description |
A "No Soliciting" sign at the Camp Roberts Safety Roadside Rest Area on the northbound side of en:U.S. Route 101 near en:Bradley, California. Such signs are intended to discourage private en:entrepreneurs from trying to sell goods and services at government-maintained rest areas along major en:freeways, which is illegal in most parts of the United States. In most states the only goods available at rest areas are en:junk food and en:soft drinks from en:vending machines, and the only commercial service offered is a en:pay phone.
