North Ballarat Football Club
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The North Ballarat Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in Ballarat and currently playing in the Victorian Football League. The Roosters are a successful club in country football and with an alignment only just reached with the Kangaroos FC now in place, success in the VFL may not be far away.
The club was formed in 1882.
They are only 1 of 4 clubs based outside of Melbourne in the VFL.
The club is arguably most famous for producing the legendary Tony Lockett, champion full-forward for St Kilda Football Club and the Sydney Swans as well as dual Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes.
