North Fitzroy Primary School (also called Fitzroy North Primary School) is a state school in the inner-city Melbourne, Australia suburb of Fitzroy North. North Fitzroy Primary School teaches all students the language of Italian. They have lessons of one hour a week. The focus is to develop language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and an awareness of Italian culture. Students are taught the following:
- Greetings
- Numbers / counting
- Seasons / months / days / time
- Family
- Descriptions (eg. colors, physical characteristics, likes / dislikes)
- Cultural aspects – people, places, food, dance, music, games, etc.
The school has large Italian-related events such as Carnevale.

The school has an Outside School Hours Care program that takes place on the school premises. The program is staffed by up to eight workers, under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and the Assistant Coordinator. The ratio of staff to students is 1:15. The staff include at least three qualified child care workers.
