The Nosferatu or are the fictional enemy in the comic book series 30 Days of Night.

The Vampires were once ruled by a "Council of Elders" led by Vicente. When some of the Elders decuided to make themselves known to humanity, they were (quite rightly) persecuted and destroyed. After several centuries, only a handful survived led by Vicente.
