three are many persons with the same name. There was a bishop in Åbo/ Turku of Finland proper 1450-60. Teuton 22:13, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, yeah, there were plenty of Magnuses around in the Nordic countries back in the days, still are, but fewer these days willingly pick up a latin family name that means The Great. Maybe it's a church thing. 129.215.149.99 18:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
