Old Oakland

Old Oakland is a historic district in downtown Oakland, California, located on the northwest side of Broadway, between the City Center complex and the Jack London Square district, and across Broadway from Chinatown.
A farmer's market is held every Friday on 9th Street.
Dining and Nightlife
The area is also home to several upscale restaurants, bars and clubs. Within walking distance of various new real estate developments such as luxury lofts and high end condomiums are many find restaurants, bars, and clubs. On Friday and Saturday nights parking is at a premium as many local hots-spots are flooded with crowds. Notably B restaurant, a modern bistro featuring an innovative menu of small plates showcasing seasonal produce and a full bar is located on 9th st. and Washington, directly across fron the convention center.
