Please note that the Handbook of Texas Online reference gives the approximate distance from Beaumont to Orangefield as "twenty miles". This is only correct per road miles and not measured straight across on a map. The true distance via air is between 12 to 14 miles. JungleCat talk/contrib 18:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
