Pat Perez
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pat Perez (born March 1, 1976) is an American professional golfer. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He plays on the PGA Tour, and has not had any tournament victories, although he has finished second twice, including a memorable runner-up result at Pebble Beach when his back-nine collapse led him to break a club over his leg. Other tantrums and outbursts, some of which have been captured on network television, have led telecasters to shy away from featuring Perez when he is in contention, in fear that he may use profanity or poor sportsmanship on live TV.

Perez's official website is www.PatPerezGolf.com and it was given the Gold Standard award by SportsIllustrated.com golf writer, Alan Shipnuck:
"But in surveying player Web sites, the gold standard has to be PatPerezGolf.com. In a nod to Pat Perez's raging temper, the logo is a golf ball being engulfed by flames and the background music on the homepage is by The Cult ('The fire in your eyes keeps me alive ...').
"Perez's blog is great reading, chock full of his surfer-dude patois and third person references to Double P. He's also prone to posting his own photos. Note the honeys in the crowd from his fourth annual party at the Phoenix Open. Most player sites have an obligatory nod to commerce, but here you can buy the coolest headcover in the world, the Pat Perez Boxing Glove model, signed by Double P himself." - SportsIllustrated.com's "Inside Golf" - February 16th, 2006
Perez has his own collectable boxing glove headcover. The headcover sports a "Double P" logo and an embroidered "Pat Perez" signature.
Perez launched his own t-shirt line in spring 2006, featuring his golf ball/flames logo, as seen on PatPerezGolf.com.
Perez is a motorcycle enthusiast and currently owns three custom built bikes - one painted like a CHP bike, one an Arizona State tribute to Pat Tillman and the other, similar to one see in the movie 'Mad Max'.
