Paul Burns (born 18 May 1984 in Irvine) is a Scottish professional footballer who currently plays for First Division side Queen of the South.
Burns is most at home on the right hand side but also can be played anywhere across the midfield. The youngster was signed from boys club Valspar as a sixteen year old and has went on to become a first team regular for the Dumfries side. Burnsy is a popular player amongst the fans due to his committed performances and his hard, crowd pleasing tackles.
However, season 2006/2007 has been one to forget for Burns, who has been plagued with a knee injury for much of this season. He has made 18 appearances so far for the Doonhamers this season.
