Paul Masterson is an Irish DJ and music producer originally from Belfast and now living in London. Masterson success so far has culminated in every major record label snapping him up, where he has gained an 18 Top 30 hits in the UK.
Remixing and high quality production work for Kylie Minogue, Hed Kandi, Armand Van Helden and the internationally renowned Amen UK and the Euro dance outfit Candy Girls, gained a string of international chart success. Collaborations with Boy George and Jeanie Tracy, result in the musical gems 'We need Love', 'Grateful', 'Out of Fashion' and 'Poverty'.
Success has not stopped with the dance charts and worldwide DJ sets. More production work within a new medium was completed with the theme tune to a prime time Channel 4 (UK) 'chat show'.
Paul Masterson's main production work is under the alias Hi-Gate with producer and DJ Judge Jules and most of his solo work is under the guise Yomanda. The group released their first album in 2003 entitled 'Split Personality' and this, as well as many other aliases, have given Paul Masterson much success in the charts and clubs.
Paul Masterson currently has a deal with Southern Fried Records, with two releases so far under the banner 'Subway", the second single 'Pullin for Two' was co-written with Fat Boy Slim and a new signing to Boss Records with the 'Yomtrax' project, which is the first collaboration with Frank Trax from Barcelona. A new Yomanda track called 'Party Jumpin' with Jeanie Tracy on vocals has just been snapped up by QUAKE Records in Japan,(June 2006) which will continue the Yomanda/Masterson success in the territory of Japan, after the collaboraions with DJ UTO.
New collaborations in the year 2006, include Jeanie Tracy and PM Project with Sharon Woolf. Paul is also currently in the studio working on new material with Dead Or Alive front man Pete Burns. (Late Summer 2006)
