i deleted the entry that claimed "alive" was about a mother molesting her 13-year old son because he looks like his deceased father. there is absolutely no clear reference to that in the song, and an interpretation in that direction is not really clear (she walks across his room and says "i'm ready for you". that's far from being clear). also: the song actually says that his real father died when the "young man", as he's called in the song, WAS thirteen. - brian

This list is ridiculously incomplete. The article does not even start to look at extreme music- I am talking about black metal, death metal, grindcore and the like. Look at Cannibal Corpse for instance. This should probably be renamed 'Pedophilia and child sexual abuse in popular music'. J Milburn 21:30, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

The following section has been removed:
- Jonathan King, composer of "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" received a seven-year prison sentence for indecent assaults and other sexual offences involving boys aged 14 and 15.
- Gary Glitter (Paul Gadd) was convicted of child pornography charges.

I don't know who put the tag up. I have checked the lyrics of every song in the article and it is very simple as there are numerous websites for lyrics. As for OR, there is no OR, this is simply a list and it has many contributors. Tony 01:16, 28 February 2007 (UTC)Tony
- Reading into what song lyrics mean without providing a reference is OR. What's here needs to be referenced, and songs shouldn't be added without providing references. Also, links to lyrics sites should not be posted per WP:EL (these sites are copyright infringements). ShadowHalo 17:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
