I believe, after further research, that the bridge is over the Caen canal, not the River Orne. I believe this because of this reference, which I think is more reliable than the others I've found, many of which are copies of us. Also this reference which even shows an ariel photograph. Should it be the current "British veterans' organisations" or "British veteran's organisations"? I vote for the last one, but I'm not sure... lzandman
- "British veteran's organisations" would imply that there is one British veteran, and that he has several organisations. "British veterans' organisations" would be used when there are many veterans. DJ Clayworth 15:21, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Just a brief comment. The Coup de Main force numbered 180 personnel i.e 30 men to each of the 6 Horsa gliders; not 181 as listed (the previous moved from main article, where it was submitted by an anoymous editor)
