Peter M. Brant is a Connecticut art dealer and film producer. He is the Chairman and CEO of Brant-Allen Industries, Inc., and owner of Brant Publications, Inc., which specialises in publishing about art in America and antiques.

He is an owner/breeder of Thoroughbred racehorses and won the Breeders' Cup Sprint with Champion, Gulch.

Peter Brant was the Executive Producer of the 1996 film Basquiat, the acclaimed 2000 film Pollock, in which his wife, Stephanie Seymour, had a small part, and in 2006 Andy Warhol: A Documentary Film.

Brant has eight children, five with his first wife, from whom he is divorced, and three children with Stephanie Seymour whom he married in 1995. His son Ryan A. Brant founded the computer games company Take-Two Interactive.
