Is that computer graphics / 3D rendering? I know this is from 1983, but since the movie Tron came out roughly around that time I wouldn't be surprised. --I run like a Welshman 08:10, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Doubtful. The image appears to use a number of techinques, such as diffuse inter-reflection and soft shadows that would be downright painful to render on an early-80s computer. Further the shadow of the left hand doesn't seem correct, and the shadow of the reflective sphere is completely wrong -- one thing 3D renderings are very good at is correct shadows. It's possible that the image was rendered as a shadowless image, then someone painted the shadows in by hand. --Carnildo 08:19, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)
