[edit] Software features
- Collections
- Nested
- Smart collections: collections based on criteria, similar to smart playlists in iTunes (Mac OS X v10.4+).
- Spotlight search in Mac OS X v10.4+.
- Import files to be used as icons (any QuickTime supported format).
[edit] iContainer
The iContainer file format is used by Pixadex to distribute icons in a single file. iContainer files retain the icons, display settings (background for the collection), copyright info (author, copyright string, website) and the icon name. CandyBar also uses the iContainer format.
