[edit] Proposed merger
The common name "oyster mushroom" is generally used for any species of Pleurotus. Also, Pleurotus ostreatus is not the only species in this genus that is cultivated and sold as an "oyster mushroom". The two articles should be merged into the article bearing the scientific name for this group, Pleurotus, as scientific names are preferred as article titles. (However, it could be argued that since this is an agricultural species the article should bear the common name, as is the Wikipedia standard for crop species.) Discuss.
