[edit] Date of birth and death
I changed the date of birth and death from 1800-1892 to 1900-1992. Two sources that I found for this is here (search for "Lucien") and here. Also, this web page talks about him being alive in the 1960s. Finally this web page says that he was "born at the beginning of the last century in a France still humiliated by its defeat in 1871." Since the artist died in 1992, it would seem that the work is not in the public domain. -- Kjkolb 04:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yup. They also say "Rousselot was fourteen when the First World War broke out." See also the Réunion des musées nationaux for a confirmation of the 1900 – 1992 dates. Lupo 09:58, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Apologies, it was an honest mistake on my part, but a mistake nonetheless. I have added a more appropriate tag in light of the situation. As you can see from the history, it was originally, correctly tagged as art by the Minister of war. It was only after Valentinian, based on my mistake, wrongly retagged it as pd-art that this problem ocurred.--R.D.H. (Ghost In The Machine) 14:45, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
