Prince Huai of Chu
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Prince Huai of Chu can refer to one of two Chinese historical personalities, both from the royal house of the state of Chu during the Warring States Period:
- Mi Huai (羋槐), Prince Huai of Chu, the 22nd prince of Chu
- Mi Xin (羋心), Prince Huai of Chu, a prince who was part of the rebellion against Qin Dynasty in the 200s BC, who later was known as the Emperor Yi of Chu, and who was Mi Huai's grandson
Note: the Chinese character wang (王) may be translated as "prince" (as is done here) or "king," and both Mi Huai and Mi Xin may therefore be referred to elsewhere as kings.
