Programmer's Notepad is an open source text editor aimed at users who work with code. It features fully customizable syntax highlighting for many languages, a Tabbed document interface, and Code folding. The editor also incorporates "text clips," code templates or values that can be inserted into the current document to speed up development time. In keeping with the idea of supporting coders, Programmer's Notepad has "tools" that allow the user to make highly customizable calls to other programs such as a compiler, based on the "scheme" or language of the current file.
