Punani may refer to:

The word punani was first brought into popular use in England and the United States by the now famous television and movie character Ali G as played by Sacha Baron Cohen, however, its usage in American slang originally comes from Jamaican dancehall and reggae music, where it is a commonly used term since at least the 1970s. It is also used in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Surinam, Barbados and other Carribean countries. As a slang term, it has many variant spellings.
