[edit] Dissident
Your arguments are muddled. I simply instated that "his dissident journalism made him a target for the authorities", which is true, and your assertion that "he wasn't arrested for" the journalism itself is undermined by the actual charges. People harp on Cason because their inclination is apologia for Castro; that doesn't mean it's the full extent of what is going on. As you say, there's more to the story than what meets the eye. That goes several ways.... --TJive 19:25, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- I've made some comments about this on the Talk:United States Interests Section in Havana page referring to Oswaldo Paya. I think the James Cason affair needs its own page, there's some material on Human Rights in Cuba and it also gets mixed up with the Varela project. It needs clarifying as its spilling out all over the place. --Zleitzen 00:51, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
