[edit] Frontage roads
No but that's certainly a good example. I can write some stuff on it later tonight.. if you want to write some today some notable examples of a *lack* of frontage roads are Interstate 35E through portions of north Oak Cliff, a good deal of the Dallas North Tollway south of Harvest Hill.. and Interstate 635 (I think..) in north Dallas. TXDOT struck a deal recently with .. some local municipality.. or multiple ones, to build frontage roads along Interstate 20 through southern Dallas County and perhaps Interstate 30 as well.
Also, though most frontage roads are one-way, Interstate 35E south of Belt Line Road in Desoto, Texas and Glenn Heights, Texas (though this isnt the city of Dallas so its inclusion is questionable) are two-way, though they are being converted to one-way with ongoing construction. drumguy8800 C T 12:41, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Valley View Center
Thanks for noticing the copyvio in the Valley View Center article. Next time you see an obvious copyright violation like that and know the source of the violation, don't use the {{copypaste}} tag, but rather go ahead and tag it with the {{copyvio}} tag, and list it on Wikipedia:Copyright problems so that the offending material can be fully removed from the encyclopedia. [edit] {{convert}}
Hey first off, thanks so much for all the work you're doing on DFW articles. You rock. Secondly, I've addressed the concerns at Template talk:convert (mostly).. now you can do the following:
- adding
|abbr=on
abbreviates the first unit - adding
|sing=on
makes the unit appear in its singular form, for grammar issues. (ex: "The 108 foot building" instead of the "the 108 feet building")
.. also, I've added a few things to prevent line-breaking, though I don't think they're working out so well. I tried placing it in both a span and a div (both failed) with white-space:nowrap;
but for some reason it didn't make any difference. drumguy8800 C T 00:58, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
