I am a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and organizational psychology at the University of Minnesota. I have gone under the screenname richdiesal since I began to use the Internet, so anything appearing under that name (such as on Google) is most likely me. I have published one article in the academic journal Computers in Human Behavior on the relationship between personality and Internet usage. I am also a co-author on an article in the Journal of Applied Psychology on some technical issues regarding meta-analysis. I also run psychtesting.org, which I and other graduate students use to administer psychological tests for studies that we are running, as well as filedrawer.org, an unpublished papers database for psychologists.
I have been a long-time user of Wikipedia and Slashdot. I also developed a very popular set of mapping tutorials for the PC video game Jedi Knight II while I was still in college at the University of Tennessee. Web design has long been a hobby of mine, and I am reasonably fluent in PHP, SQL, and, I am ashamed to admit, VBScript for ASP.
