Rider finishers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the tokusatsu genre Kamen Rider, the Riders usually use the famous Rider Kick to finish off their enemies. Over time, many other Kamen Riders started using different finisher moves like punches and other weapon attacks. The entries below are the categories as to where the finishers might be put into.

[edit] Rider Kick
Main Article: Rider Kick
The signature Rider finisher, Rider Kick becomes one of the icons for the Kamen Rider Franchise, along with bug eyes and scarves. Obviously introduced by Kamen Rider Ichigo, the generic Rider Kick involves jumping into the air and landing a flying side kick to the enemy, either to the torso or the head, to obliterate them.
[edit] Rider Jump
A commonly used finisher by many Riders, Rider Jump is more of a setup for a wide array of other Rider finishers. Introduced by Kamen Rider Ichigo, it involves the Rider performing a powerful jump to the air, high enough to give them enough air time to set up for different finishers. Most commonly used in conjunction with the Rider Kick. Rider Jump became an exclusive feature to Kamen Rider Kick Hopper and Kamen Rider Punch Hopper rather than possessing a Clock-Up system.
[edit] Rider Punch
The second most used offensive finisher, the Rider Punch was introduced by Kamen Rider Ichigo. Eventually, many other Riders that followed him used the Rider Punch or any of its variations. For many of the Riders, this finisher involves jumping in the air and delivering a straight punch to the enemy.

[edit] Rider Chop
Another hand type finisher, Rider Chop proved to be an effective finisher. Introduced by Kamen Rider Ichigo, many Riders who followed also used this finisher or any of its variations. Introduced by Kamen Rider Ichigo, as long as it involves the enemy being tossed, it is considered a Rider Throw. Although it's not exactly a throw, Kamen Rider Verde's Death Vanish Final Vent can be considered a throw/slam type attack; in this case, a piledriver.
