Singapore follows closely to the UK standard of road signs to maintain traffic, as it was an ex-British colony, but with several unique changes added over the years, slightly deviating from Britain.

Most warning signs take the shape of an equilateral red triangle with a white background. These signs warn about the possible danger or unusual conditions ahead and alert motorists on what to expect. Below are some signs used.

All probitory signs are circular and have a red border with a white background. These signs prohibits certain vehicles or actions on the road. Motorists must comply with the signs or face charges. Below are some signs used.

Temporary Work Zone Signs are displayed due to road works or construction projects that would affect the normal flow of trffic. Temporary Warning Signs are diamond shaped with an orange background and black letters. Temporary Project Information Signs are rectangular shaped with an orange background and black letters.
