Robin Williams (writer)

Robin Williams is a writer of computer-related books. She is particularly known for her manuals of style The Mac is Not a Typewriter (ISBN 0-201-78263-4) and The Non-Designer's Design Book (ISBN-13: 978-0-321-19385-8), as well as numerous manuals for various Mac OS operating systems and applications, including The Little Mac Book (ISBN-13: 978-0-321-33534-0).
Williams grew up in San Jose and Fremont, California, graduating from Washington High School in Fremont and then attending Santa Rosa Junior College.[1].
An autodidact, Williams has spent years studying Shakespeare, and after writing, designing, indexing, and producing more than fifty computer-related books, Robin is developing an additional line of books related to Shakespeare, including Sweet Swan of Avon: Did a Woman Write Shakespeare? (ISBN-13: 978-0321426406) She also teaches Shakespeare and leads 16-week discussion groups about individual plays.
