Roborough

The village of Roborough is situated to the north of Plymouth, lying in the South Hams, just outside of the city boundary.
In recent years, however, some of the more aspirational residents of districts in north Plymouth, in particular Southway and Widewell, have taken to giving their postal address as "Roborough", rather than face the perceived social stigma of living in a less-than-desirable location.
This gives the very false impression that Roborough extends some way into the city boundary.
