Roger Ashby (born September 12, 1947 in England) is a former Kettering Town player who has previously managed Rushden & Diamonds and Grantham Town and Nuneaton Borough. He resigned as Nuneaton Borough manager in December 2006 after a poor run of results.
Well known in football circles and has an impressive record as both player and manager. He made over 600 appearances for Kettering Town before starting a successful managerial career at Irthlingborough Diamonds, Rushden Town, Rushden & Diamonds, Bedford Town and at Grantham Town.
Appointed manager of Nuneaton Borough in February 2004 following the departure of Alan Lewer and has led the club to fourth, third and second place finishes and will be aiming for automatic promotion this time around. Has an excellent record in the FA Cup which reached its peak last season at Nuneaton Borough. On Monday December 18, 2006, Ashby quit as Nuneaton Borough manager.
His son Nick Ashby is currently in charge of Wellingborough Town 2004 F.C. in the role of managerial position.
