Ruddy Lugo (born on May 22, 1980 in Barahona, Dominican Republic) is a major league pitcher for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He bats and throws right-handed.
Lugo is the younger brother of shortstop Julio Lugo. Lugo was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 3rd round of the 1999 amateur baseball draft. He was signed by the Devil Rays during spring training of 2005. He then started the season with the Class A Visalia Oaks and finished it with the double a Montgomery Biscuits. In 2006 he was finally called up to the Devil Rays and made his debut on April 3 against the Baltimore Orioles.
