Runet Prize

The Runet Prize (Russian: Премия Рунета) is a national award of the Russian Federation. First awarded in 2004, the prize honors the top Russia-based website in several categories. In 2006 a Runet Prize in the category of "science and education" was presented to the Russian language version of Wikipedia.[1] Runet is a combination of the words "Russia" and "Internet."
