Checking with the US Patent and Trademark Organization, the name "RUOK?" (with question mark) has not yet been approved per application. "RUOK" (no question mark) is listed as a separate request that was abandoned in 2004. As information regarding the registration is available and officially posted on the US Patent website, this article citation will likewise be updated.

[edit] Local Communities
The first line states this is used by many local communities. Where? This is an international encyclopaedia talking about something as local, as a reader I have no idea where this article is talking about. Can someone please add this information and remember that Wikipedia is no centric to any one country but is an international site. I think it's in the US but I'm not sure. - Local is used in the sense that RUOK services are commonly offered by city and sometimes county governments as opposed to by state or federal government level. As far as I am aware, these programs are offered throughout the U.S. and in Canada, although I have found one provider in the Netherlands as well. I amended this first paragraph to reflect this. A directory of U.S. communities providing this type of service is found in the Resources section. pgillman 15:08, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
