It considers the net of western Russia waterways, connected by many canals, to be the Eurasian division. Although admited to be as arbitrary as the others, it is based on the idea of circumnavigation of a continent, which would be possible through these waterways.
In these definition the border of Europe and Asia going through: White Sea, Northern Dvina River, them Sukhona River and Northern Dvina Canal; from there it goes through Volga's tributary, Sheksna River, reaching the Rybinsk Reservoir and finally the Volga River, going on its way until the Volga-Don Canal, when it goes trhough the course of Don River, finally reaching the Black Sea.
This definition leaves only Russia divided in Europe and Asia on the region (Turkey and even Greece may be considered divided between them on the Mediterranean region), and leaves a greater part of Russia in Asia if compared with other definitions.
