Ryan Vikedal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ryan "Nik" Vikedal (born May 9, 1975) is a former drummer for the rock band, Nickelback. Vikedal was fired from the band in January of 2005, and was soon replaced by former 3 Doors Down drummer Daniel Adair.
He is the longest serving drummer of Nickleback's history, and favoured a simplistic, more classic rock style that combined well with the modern edge the band was pushing out. He is sponsored by Ayotte drums, one of Canada's finest individual drum makers, and uses Zildjian cymbals.
However, Vikedal was not the original Nickelback drummer. He joined the band in 1998 after Brandon Kroeger's departure. His work can be heard on The State, Silver Side Up and The Long Road.
Currently it has been said that Ryan Vikedal is now the drummer for a band called Soundevice
