The Golden Land also featured prominently in A Link to the Past. Could someone add that? I guess I could, but I'd have to do some research, and I'm assuming there are more knowledgeable people out there.

Isn't it only by the Triforce's power that the realm becomes tainted due to Ganondorf, not just because he entered it? As in, if he were to enter it, but not take the Triforce, would it still become tainted. I dont think so.

Since there's is so much retconning and re-conning of the Zelda games' histories, It stands to reason that the sages or wise-men referenced may or may not be the same ones from Ocarina of Time.

The part about the Sacred Realm in Ocarina of Time is wrong I believe.
While the sacred realm exists, it is not where Link continues his adventures. It is actually a future where Ganon rules, not the corrupted Sacred Realm. TotalTommyTerror 07:01, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- You're right. The only area refered to as part of the Sacred Realm is the Chamber of Sages where Link obtains the Sages' Medallions. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 08:02, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Who created the Sacred Realm?
I was under the impression that the ancient sages/first Hylians created the Sacred Realm with their (or the Triforce's) power in order to provide a separate and secure home for the Triforce. Was it stated somewhere that the goddesses created the Sacred Realm along with the Triforce? --Tryforceful 05:25, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Twilight Realm: Twilight Princess version of the Dark Realm?
Many of the locations in Twilight Princess are similar versions of previous games, such as the Sacred Grove and the Lost Woods. The Twilight Realm seems to fit the model of the Dark Realm, especially as the sages in Ocarina of Time banish Ganondorf there like the sages of Twilight Princess try to banish Ganondorf to the Twilight Realm. Plus, it is often referred to as the world of shadows and in contrast to the world of light. Perhaps the Twilight Realm IS the Dark Realm that is referenced in Ocarina of Time.
