Salamanca District is located at the northwest of the Historical centre of Madrid in Spain. It constitutes one of the most representative areas of the bourgeois "madrileño" enlarge. It is totally urbanized in 1927. It is in the exterior area of the "Rondas" where the neighborhoods of Guindalera and Fuente del Berro were originated with a more spontaneous urban development. There are four arteries that compose the District from West to East: Serrano, Velázquez, Príncipe de Vergara and Conde de Peñalver. Marqués de Salamanca square delimits the wealthy from the more popular area. Salamanca neighborhood has become one of the most important commercial areas in the city.rubbish
