Talk:Salomon, Duke of Brittany

[edit] Saloman or Salomon?
The correct name should be "Salomon" (from the Breton Salaün). Where does that "Saloman" come from? Is it the usual english way of writing it? (though I saw the correct name in the linked family tree)
Should I rename it?
- no reply, but google all I could and the only mentions of Saloman I found were on Wikipedia and its 'mirrors', while Salomon gave many replies from english languages sources... so, so be it, I dare rename!
[edit] Treaty of Entrammes
The text asserts that Salomon concluded this treaty with "Charles I of France", ie Charlemagne, to whom the link points. Poor old Charlemagne had been almost 50 years - the West Frankish ruler in 863 ruler was Charles II the Bald. I have corrected text and link. I assume that the rest of the text about the treaty is correct. --Iacobus 01:04, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
