Talk:Sam Zell
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sam Zell continues to be responsible for the pillaging of thousands of mobile home owners, largely senior citizens.
Raising rents unconscionably, he drives oldsters out of their homes, systematically transferring their equities to his own already full pockets, enriching himself while destroying old lives, nationwide.
He uses his billions to buy lawyers and politicians and has become virtually untouchable.
As verification of these claims you can visit a website dedicated to exposing Zell's egregious behavior. "MHC vs the Lilliputians" (http://mhcvsthelilliputians.cjb.net/) also entitled "H.E.L.P." or "Homeowners vs Equity Lifestyle Properties".
If you can substantiate the above charges, you should have the courage to sign your name and send a copy to Sam Zell and perhaps the Chicago Tribune. I have no knowledge of whether Zell is guilty or innocent of any of these things, but to make anonymous claims without proof is reprehensible.
There is nothing anonymous about these claims. The website, MHC vs The Lilliputians, contains all of our names and contact information. If you take the trouble to peruse it you will then have knowledge of Zell's reprehensible behavior
Copies of all these charges have been sent to Zell, the Chicago Tribune as well as to Carol Marin, Chicago's favorite television investigative journalist who has been exposing Zell's activities for several years, not to mention Business Week who printed a letter to the editor after investigating the veracity of the claims.
The problem is that when you are as rich as Zell is and you are as poor as his victims are the playing field is impossibly unequal.
