Sandling
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sandling is a small hamlet on the edge of the village of Saltwood in Kent. It has a railway station (formerly a junction) connected to Saltwood village by a bus service. It is also the location of Sandling Park, a large estate and house, which stretches around the village of Saltwood and ends at Saltwood's other satellite hamlet, Pedlinge.
Sandling has been a quiet hamlet, but in the later part of the 20th century it has been changed by modern developments - the M20 motorway and the Channel Tunnel high speed rail-link have both been constructed directly through the centre of this tiny settlement.
