Sansarpur is a census town in Jalandhar district in the Indian state of Punjab.

As of 2001 India census,GRIndia Sansarpur had a population of 4061. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Sansarpur has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 71%. In Sansarpur, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.

The village in his heydays produced 14 Hockey Olympic players, which reperesented India,kenya and canada in the Olympics. And all olympians were Kullar(jat-sikh). It has also produced 15 international players.It produced the larget number of olympians from India. It is also known as mecca of indian hockey. Dr. Popinder Singh Kullar resident of sansarpur has done research on village sansarpur. In one olympic 7 players of sansarpur played hockey in olympics. 5 from india and 2 from kenya. But now due lack of support of Indian govt. and lack of facilities like astro turf , its standard is falling.
