Sarn Badrig
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sarn Badrig is one of several more or less parallel shingle reefs extending under the sea in Cardigan Bay on the west coast of Wales.
Sarn Badrig (Saint Patrick's Causeway), the longest and most northerly, extends westwards under the sea from Shell Island, parallel to the Llyn Peninsula for a length of about twenty miles, and can be seen at low tide. It is a hazard to shipping.
In welsh mythology it is a dyke protecting the Lowland Hundred (Cantre Gwaelod).
