Saturday morning
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Saturday morning is the block of animated television programming during Saturday mornings. In the United States, television networks broadcast their Saturday morning programming in two blocks: One for the Eastern, Central, and Mouintain time zones, and one for the Pacific, Alaskan, and Hawaiian time zones. The generally accepted times considered to be Saturday mornings are "8am-12pm (Eastern and Pacific)" and "7am-11am (Central and Mountain)". With the addition of newer networks such as the FOX Network and The CW, there now is considered a common Saturday separate.
However, most of the stations that airs Saturday morning shows in the Pacific time zone tend to follow the Central time schedule, since the Pacific time zone pattern generally consist of a Central daytime schedule and an Eastern primetime pattern.
