[edit] Author's Note
I must say it has been interesting following the history of this article. I'm resisting getting into an editing feud, but the removal of a line break which I deliberately inserted for readabilty sort of has me beside myself. I can't understand why it was removed since it takes up no more practical space. (In other words, the line wraps anyway!)
I'm not sure why it was necessary to change the date formats since I followed Manual of Style (dates and numbers). But... OK.
I'm not sure that a reference to New York City was needed, but I left it alone.
I'll grant you that I was unsure of all the Wikipedia markup; so I left the contraction of Cable News Network into CNN alone.
The fact check on SNC into CNN2 was appreciated.
It's just interesting the changes that are made to an article which either had previously been deleted or which no one thought was important enough to write. Hmmmm...

What do you know!
Wikipedia timestamps articles exactly the way I wrote them in my original text!
