Sayo, Hyogo

Sayo (佐用町; -cho) is a town located in Sayō District, Hyogo, Japan.
As of October 1, 2004, the town has an estimated population of 21,280 and a population density of 69 persons per km². The total area is 307.51 km².
On October 1, 2005, the towns of Kozuki, Mikazuki and Nanko from Sayo District merged into the town of Sayo.
