Scar Night
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Scar Night is the first novel in The Deepgate Codex series of novels, written by Alan Campbell and published in 2006. Scar Night centers around a young angel named Dill who lives in the city of Deepgate.
[edit] Setting
The city of Deepgate is where Scar night is set, a slowly deteriorating city suspended by thousands of chains over an apparently bottomless abyss. The people of Deepgate worship their god Ulcis, who is building an army of dead to overthrow Ayen, the goddes who sealed the doors of heaven, effectively damning all souls to Iril, or hell.
[edit] Characters

- The last descendant of Ulcis' warrior Callis, Dill is one of only two surviving angels, destined to become a temple archon.
